Madalynn is on duty as a detective and is snooping through Mr. Mondays house for evidence needed to tie him to a crime.
As she's snooping through the house Mr. Monday arrives back home and surprises her which results in a tussle where Mr. Monday gets the upper hand and knocks her out with his hand over her mouth.
He packs her mouth while she's inert and tapes it shut, she is then moved to the floor where her ankles and wrists are tied.
