I asked a colleague to come by to check a weird sound my car makes and when he arrives, I ask him to look for my keys next to my shoes while I collect my stuff. I walk in as he kneels next to my boots - and if he's down there already, he might as well help me put on my boots! Of course, he also notices the strong smell while putting them on - guess that will stick to his hands for a while :-D Then we go to the car, I take off my boots to feel the pedals better and then start driving, asking him if he can hear the weird sound - but he can't.
