I have to admit, there was something I enjoyed about letting my underarm hair grow out. It felt like I was breaking some sort of social rule when I was out and about wearing sleeveless shirts and dresses. Little patches of fine, dark hair were visible to anyone watching whenever I raised my arms, and I secretly enjoyed wondering what they thought about me. But alas, my boyfriend says he hates it and I need to shave it all off so I can have silky-smooth armpits once again! So I lather up and carefully shave my underarms, then show off how beautifully smooth they look.
