Hannah is a fugitive on the run and desperately seeking a place to lie low for a while. Thinking she has found an empty house, she breaks in to the basement and conceals herself. When she hears steps on the stairs and realizes she is not alone, she makes a run for the door, but the man who has come to investigate the noise she made getting in her to stop.
