Carissa is meeting with her lender and trying to persuade him to give her more time to come up with the money, but he is reluctant to accommodate her, not least because his reputation for enforcing collections might be jeopardized by assenting. When Carissa insists that she really can't come up with any money for at least another week, her lender reluctantly agrees, but he wants something in return as interim payment - he wants her to take off all her clothes and stand before him in the nude.
