Dr. Smith introduces Axel to Mr. Latcher via video and asks him some intimate questions. We then flashback to the two meeting for a training session. While chatting Dr. Smith knocks Axel out and straps him down to his bed. Headphones are placed on his head and we see him being programmed to follow all commands.
