I've been stood up for an outing... by my parents!
The end of school couldn't come quick enough after I had been promised to spend the rest of the day at the beach snorkelling but now I find myself home alone and bored.
Still in my school uniform I sit in the garden by the pool and begin to unpack my beach bag ... My vintage voit rubber open fins, the new Japanese pearl divers mask and a snorkel all lay before me.
Then I realise - I don't need the beach to have fun!
Also, some things are more fun when your parents are not around.... ;o)
