Lucy was hit by a car and wakes up in the hospital wearing a hard plastic neck brace and a diaper. The doctor comes in to examine her and gives her the bad news. Her L3 and L4 vertebrae are damaged and she is paralyzed. Lucy is in despair. A few weeks have and Lucy now wears a softer neck brace and has been doing her exercises in the hospital.
