Pigs tend to eat food from the floor. That's no surprise because they are pigs, you wouldn't expect them to be eating at a table with a plate now would you? That's why Alliyah feeds her pig by first crushing the food under her bare feet, spitting on it and then letting him snack on it right from the floor at her feet. That's how pigs live and that's how pigs are treated, and they are grateful for it.
