Miss Wood has come to see the Scriptwriter but he hasn't had time and hasn't come up with anything and is full of excuses. So he says he needs another few days so she agrees. However, he's also going to get something from her as an incentive to get on with the writing properly. A punishment! She starts whipping his bare bottom with the stinging whip. She then starts whipping his back also. Going between his back and bottom, she makes her point about not letting her down again very clearly.
