The slave takes so many that he even sweats from his feet, while we, laughing, alternate in inflicting our quota of pains on him. Then, tired of hearing so many groans, we have fun making him complain by enunciating the whole alphabet, which makes us laugh out loud. So we decide to make things more difficult for him and move on to the multiplication tables, but without much success on his part. In the end we tell him to complain in silence, until he can't take it anymore and we leave, disappointed.

Io e le mie amiche abbiamo deciso dare una svolta alla nostra giornata, inveendo sul sedere di uno schiavo. Ci siamo tutte armate di cane e abbiamo iniziato...un bel concerto, fatto dai nostri colpi e dai lamenti del povero, o meglio, estremamente fortunato schiavo. Il suo sedere, dapprima soltanto un po’ paonazzo, ha cominciato a diventare violaceo e pieno di striature. Lo schiavo ne prende talmente tante che suda anche dai piedi, mentre noi, ridendo, ci alterniamo nell’infliggergli le nostre pene. Poi stufe di sentire tanti lamenti ci divertiamo a farlo lamentare enunciando tutto l’alfabeto, il che ci fa sbellicare dalle risate. Quindi decidiamo di rendergli le cose più difficili e passare alle tabelline, senza però molto successo da parte sua. Alla fine gli intimiamo di lamentarsi in silenzio, finchè non ce la fa più e ce ne andiamo via, deluse.
