Mitzi is sitting on her chair, one leg tucked under the other. The sun is filtering through the sliding glass door. Her calf is bulging. She wriggles a foot around absentmindedly. She shifts and crosses her legs, one over the other. It is uncomfortable for her sitting this way. Then she uncrosses, crosses the other over, winding her ankle around like girls do. The veins in the top of her foot and her ankle show. Then she sits in the original position. The sun pleases her smooth legs.
