Silver party heels look best on the feet of mature women, I think. After all, heavy veins and sharp tendons are far more interesting than smooth skin with no character. Nothing like straps around and over the instep, and nothing like a slender slingback to top it all off. Watch, then, as I wrestle the strappy things on and then squeeze my feet and squirm them all around so the tendons pop and the thick veins get engorged.
