Sonya, a private security investigator, follows a computer hacker into an upstairs room and confronts him. But Sonya disarms him and quickly defeats him in a fight. However, the hacker sets off an alarm, and Sergei, the main villain of the film, arrives. Sergei tries to recruit Sonya to work for him but when she refuses, he knocks her out and takes her as a hostage. Sergei carries Sonya’s out of the building and puts her in his car.
