My irresponsible step-son Jason was told to wash the car by hand because it was filthy. Jason likes to take the car out and leave his trash in it, he gets it filthy driving up and down the dirt roads near our mountain home but he never takes responsibility for cleaning it. I can tell he didn't wash it by hand because the passenger side is filthy. If he had washed it by hand, there's no way he could have missed such a large area. He was already being punished for letting it get so dirty but he didn't do what he was told and now he must suffer the consequences.
