Once John Marsh's wrists are chained to opposite sides of the dome, there isn't much he can do in his own defense. Add a gag, hood and locking collar, and his situation is even more dire. In the opening scene, John is hooded, his ankles are belted, and his genitals are tied behind him.

In the second segment of this clip, the hood is removed and the rope around his genitals is tightened. John drools and struggles against his bonds, but there is no way he can escape with his cuffs locked on and padlocked to the chains.
