2021-09-20: John Marsh is doing his tarzan thing in camo shorts and bare feet. He is climbing trees and wading in the creek. He almost gets stuck in the mud when he jumps out of a tree, but he manages to free himself. Then, he decides to cross a muddy spot by spanning it with a length of bamboo. The bamboo breaks as he is crossing and he sinks, rapidly into the quicksand underneath. He realizes, once he is trapped in the bog, that he is in the grip of insidious quicksand. He tries everything to escape, but his attempts are futile.
