Doug slogs around the swamp in blue speedos for a couple minutes before getting completely mired down in the hungry mud. The final sinking sequence goes pretty slowly, from Doug's fateful leap that lands him in a mud trap, to his final immersion. The mud below the surface is fairly thick, but it is also bottomless. With wrists tied behind his back, Doug's struggles only serve to work him deeper into the unrelenting mud.
