This clip opens with a 4 minute struggle through deep swamp mud, pulling a kayak with a conveniently mounted camera, that follows all the action. Doug is barefooted, wearing denim short-shorts, and a sleeveless t-shirt. After 4 minutes, Doug leaves his kayak behind to cross a mud flat that ends up being a quagmire of bottomless, thick mud. He struggles to move through the thick mud, but the harder he struggles, the deeper he is drawn into the relentless grasp of the mire.
