In this clip, Doug gets mired into some thick and unrelenting swamp mud. He struggles in earnest as he sinks slowly deeper into the mire. He doesn't go completely under, but he gets in past his shoulders and he is hopelessly stuck. The muck is thick and bottomless, and the struggle is real.
