It's fight day. I am getting increasingly nervous as I warm up, showing off my oiled up glistening muscles. I am getting in the zone, increasing the strength of my warm-up punches. I am wearing my black robe and am ready to make my entrance. I put my mouthguard on and, as I am introduced, I jump up and down nervously, hitting my gloves against each other. I try some last-minute warm-up moves as I try to stay calm. My second remove my robe to show off my sweaty physique and glistening muscles ready for battle. Right from touch gloves, it is evident that this is going to be a tough fight. Some last-minute instructions from my second and some warming up and the fight begins. It's a slugfest right from the start. The strength of punches quickly escalates and I am taken by surprise, in the first round, and am knocked down. I get up just in time to reach my corner. Mouthguard off, some water, spit, instructions from my second, mouthguard on, ready for the next round. As the rounds go by, it's a constant pummelling on both sides. You can see the signs on my face, it's a really tough fight, but I am holding up. I am coming around in the long-distance, my confidence grows, as does the strength of my punches. I am ready for one last attack. Final round: I gather some extra energy and knock out my opponent with one final flurry of punches. As I am declared winner, I flex my oiled up, sweaty muscles.
