After a thunderstorm night Lory is very tired. She didn’t rest well and her leg is hurting like hell. She takes some pills and continues her work, walking through her apartment very difficultly. She tries to avoid to put too much weight on her bad leg using both crutches. She has to climb a ladder to take a box high in the wardrobe, but she doesn’t dare to do it, her left leg, is too weak. She is happy when her friend Nicky comes to visit her. She is willing to help her. But coming down the ladder she doesn’t pay attention and misses a step. She’s falling down and her leg is hurt. She is in agony. Lory wants to help her, to comfort her. She kneels down, with too much pain, at her side, to remove the shoe and massage the painful leg of Nicky. But she can’t stand it, she thinks her leg is broken. Lory does everything to help her, first to get her standing up again, giving her the crutches. Lory herself can get up throwing herself to the sofa, and getting up very painfully and slowly. Heavily limping she lets Nicky out because she wants to see a doctor. Now Lory has no crutches anymore and she has to clean up everything all alone. Leaning on everything that can give her some support Lory does the job.
