You remember what today is, right sweetie? A year. A year since your stepfather left us. Part of me is still in shock. We had no time to process it. He got sick and one day he was gone. But YOU have been my biggest blessing. You didn't have to stay. But you did. I wouldn't of made it without my boy. Losing your stepfather was the most traumatizing thing. The days get better but some days I can't get out of bed. Look at me...I must look terrible.
