The fresh air of the first rays of sun was invigorating and the birds singing created the perfect soundtrack for my moment of meditation. I settled on a soft mat surrounded by majestic trees and the scent of flowers in bloom. I began to focus on my breathing lengthening my body and finding my position. With each asana I felt the tension melt away and the tranquility that enveloped me was indescribable. However as I immersed myself in a deep meditation position I felt a sudden urge to go to the bathroom. A quick thought: “I can hold out a little longer.” I continued to breathe deeply trying to ignore the growing sensation. But as time passed the pressure became more and more unbearable. I tried to concentrate but the confused thoughts continued to crowd my mind. A moment later while I was doing a forward bend the unexpected happened: I couldn't hold anything in anymore. I felt overwhelmed by embarrassment and in disbelief I realized what had happened. My first reaction was to remain still hoping that no one had noticed. But when I looked up some passersby were starting to look at me and the heat on my cheeks betrayed my mortifying embarrassment. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry; the situation was absurd. With my heart pounding I decided to slowly get up trying to cover the damage somehow. I had peed a ton of urine in my favorite leggings and I was completely wet. What an absurd situation come and see how much!
