The giantess’s laughter thundered, shaking me to the core of my being. One moment I was in my cozy world of servers and high-speed connections, the next I was the size of an insect, squeezed between the enormous fingers of a giant woman.
“What are you going to do with me?” I asked in a shrill voice that she probably didn’t even hear.
The giantess smiled, and her face came closer, transforming into a landscape of mountains and valleys. I felt myself being lifted up, higher and higher, until I was staring into two enormous puddles: her eyes.
Then, with a sudden gesture, she deposited me at the mouth of a dark green tube.
“Explore!” her voice boomed, echoing along the walls of the tube.
And so, I began my journey. The tube was wet and slimy, and the walls pulsed rhythmically. I held on with all my strength to avoid being sucked into the flow of water that ran inside it.
The world around me was a succession of alien shapes and colors. Roots twisted like snakes, tiny insects that looked like dragons, drops of water that transformed into thunderous waterfalls.
I felt like an explorer in an unknown world, a digital pioneer in an analog universe. My mission, if you could call it that, was simply to observe, to record, to learn.
And as I let myself be carried by the current, I couldn't help but think about the irony of the situation. I am reduced to a castaway in a garden hose.
The giantess had a party days before and I can see her friends' pee. I'm practically in it! I really am an insect!
But perhaps, precisely in this paradoxical situation, I could discover new perspectives, new ways of looking at the world. After all, isn't exploration the basis of all forms of knowledge?
And so, I continued on my journey, ready to face any challenge, any wonder, that this strange, microscopic world had in store for me.

La risata della gigantessa rimbombò come un tuono, facendomi vibrare fino al nucleo del mio essere. Un attimo prima ero nel mio confortevole mondo, fatto di server e connessioni ad alta velocità, un attimo dopo ero ridotto alle dimensioni di un insetto, stretto tra le dita enormi di una donna gigantesca.
"Che cos'hai intenzione di fare con me?" chiesi con una vocina stridula, che lei probabilmente non udì nemmeno.
La gigantessa sorrise, e il suo viso si avvicinò, trasformandosi in un paesaggio di montagne e valli. Mi sentii sollevare verso l'alto, sempre più in alto, fino a quando non mi ritrovai a fissare due enormi pozze: i suoi occhi.
Poi, con un gesto improvviso, mi depositò all'imboccatura di un tubo verde scuro.
"Esplora!" tuonò la sua voce, echeggiando lungo le pareti del tubo.
E così, iniziai il mio viaggio. Il tubo era umido e viscido, e le pareti pulsavano ritmicamente. Mi aggrappai con tutte le mie forze per non essere risucchiato dal flusso d'acqua che scorreva al suo interno.
Il mondo intorno a me era un susseguirsi di forme e colori alieni. Radici contorte come serpenti, insetti minuscoli che sembravano draghi, gocce d'acqua che si trasformavano in cascate fragorose.
Mi sentii un esploratore in un mondo sconosciuto, un pioniere digitale in un universo analogico. La mia missione, se così si poteva chiamare, era semplicemente quella di osservare, di registrare, di imparare.
E mentre mi facevo trasportare dalla corrente, non potei fare a meno di pensare all'ironia della situazione. Sono ridotto a un naufrago in un tubo da giardino.
La gigantessa ha dato una festa giorni prima e riesco a vedere la pipi delle sue amiche. Ci sono praticamente dentro! Sono proprio un insetto!
Ma forse, proprio in questa situazione paradossale, avrei potuto scoprire nuove prospettive, nuovi modi di guardare il mondo. Dopotutto, l'esplorazione non è forse alla base di ogni forma di conoscenza?
E così, continuai il mio viaggio, pronto ad affrontare qualsiasi sfida, qualsiasi meraviglia, che questo strano, microscopico mondo avesse in serbo per me.
