Mmmh... delicious! she thought to herself, while with her eyes closed she continued to chew with obvious pleasure.
One after another, the gummy candies disappeared into her basket. There were sour spiders, mandarin-flavored mice, white ghosts that tasted like coconut... Nicoletta enjoyed them all with the same gluttony, chewing slowly and making loud smacking noises with her mouth as she devoured them completely!

La notte di Halloween era finalmente arrivata e Nicoletta era pronta per la tradizionale "dolcetto o scherzetto". Il suo bottino, dopo una lunga serata trascorsa a bussare alle porte del vicinato, era un tripudio di colori e forme: cioccolatini, lecca lecca, caramelle di ogni tipo. Ma la vera passione di Nicoletta erano le caramelle gommose.
Tornata a casa, si sedette sul pavimento del salotto, circondata dal suo tesoro zuccherino. Scelse con cura una caramella gommosa a forma di ragno, rossa e scintillante. La portò alla bocca e la morse con gusto, assaporando la dolcezza intensa e la consistenza gommosa che si attaccava ai denti.
Mmmh... deliziosa! pensò tra sé e sé, mentre con gli occhi chiusi continuava a masticare con evidente piacere.
Una dopo l'altra, le caramelle gommose sparivano nel suo cestino. C'erano ragni aciduli, topi al gusto di mandarino, fantasmini bianchi al sapore di cocco... Nicoletta li gustava tutti con la stessa golosità, masticando con lentezza e facendo schioccare rumorosamente la bocca divorandoli completamente!
