I keep walking, but suddenly, an eerie rumble makes its way into my belly.

"Um I hope the microphone didn't pick up that noise," I mutter, trying to ignore the uneasy feeling growing inside me.
But my stomach has other plans. Another rumble, louder this time, makes me blush. I try to keep calm, but the pressure is building.
Prrr
An unmistakable sound escapes, despite my efforts to hold it in. My face turns red as a tomato.
“Oh man,” I whisper, lowering the camera. “I think I’m going to have to cut this part.”
I walk away from the main road, looking for a secluded spot where I can relieve myself without being seen. But things get worse.
Prrr Prrr
A series of embarrassing sounds escape me, accompanied by a feeling of relief mixed with shame.

I turn off the camera, defeated. “Maybe I should go home,” I tell myself, trying to laugh it off. “At least I have some good footage to edit, even if the soundtrack isn’t the best!”

La mia voce risuona allegra mentre inquadro con il mio smartphone la strada che si snoda davanti a me. Casette color pastello si affacciano sui vicoli lastricati, fiori colorati sbocciano dai balconi e l'aria profuma di pane appena sfornato.
"È tutto così pittoresco! Non vedo l'ora di mostrarvi ogni angolo di questo posto magico."
Continuo a camminare, ma improvvisamente, un brontolio sinistro si fa sentire nella mia pancia.
Gulp
"Ehm spero che il microfono non abbia captato quel rumore," mormoro, cercando di ignorare la sensazione di disagio che cresce dentro di me.
Ma il mio stomaco ha altri piani. Un altro brontolio, più forte questa volta, mi fa arrossire. Cerco di mantenere la calma, ma la pressione aumenta.
Prrr
Un suono inconfondibile sfugge, nonostante i miei sforzi per trattenerlo. La mia faccia diventa rossa come un pomodoro.
"Oh cavolo," sussurro, abbassando la videocamera. "Credo che dovrò tagliare questa parte."
Mi allontano dalla strada principale, cercando un posto appartato dove potermi liberare senza essere vista. Ma la situazione peggiora.
Prrr Prrr
Una serie di suoni imbarazzanti mi sfuggono, accompagnati da una sensazione di sollievo misto a vergogna.

Spengo la videocamera, sconfitta. "Forse è meglio tornare a casa," mi dico, cercando di riderci sopra. "Almeno ho qualche bel filmato da montare, anche se la colonna sonora non è delle migliori!"
