The "Armonia e Benessere" beauty center was an oasis of delicate scents and relaxing music, a place where customers went to forget the stress of everyday life and dedicate themselves to personal care. That day, however, the quiet atmosphere was disturbed by the arrival of Mrs. Nicoletta, a woman in her forties, with a vaguely unkempt look and a smile that was a little too dazzling.
Nicoletta sat down on the chair for the facial treatment, but as the beautician began to apply the moisturizing cream, a pungent and penetrating smell invaded the room. The other customers looked around questioningly, trying to understand where that nauseating whiff was coming from.
The beautician, with great professionalism, tried to keep a neutral expression, but the smell was so strong that tears came to her eyes. Discreetly, he tried to locate the source of that infernal stench and, to his horror, realized that it was coming from Mrs. Nicoletta's feet.
The woman, oblivious to the effect she was causing, had in fact taken off her shoes and socks, revealing a pair of sweaty feet. The smell was pestilential, a mix of aged cheese and hobbit feet after a long march in the Shire.
The beautician, with a smile, tried to make Mrs. Nicoletta understand that it would be better if she covered her feet with the blanket (original dialogues in the video!), but the woman pretended nothing had happened and after a few seconds returned to her previous position.
At that point, the beautician had to resort to a trick: with the excuse of having to get a product from the next booth, she walked away for a few minutes, spraying an industrial quantity of deodorant into the air. When she returned, the smell was slightly attenuated, but still perceptible.
Despite the discomfort, the beautician completed the treatment, trying to maintain concentration and not to breathe too deeply. When Mrs. Nicoletta finally got up to leave, leaving a nauseating trail behind her, the beautician breathed a sigh of relief and hurried to open all the windows, hoping to restore the fresh air in her beauty center as soon as possible. The other customers, meanwhile, exchanged amused glances and low-voiced comments, commenting on the incident with a mixture of disbelief and disgust. Mrs. Nicoletta, unaware of having been the protagonist of a small olfactory drama, left the beauty center with a satisfied smile, convinced that she had treated herself to an afternoon of pure relaxation.
Il centro estetico "Armonia e Benessere" era un'oasi di profumi delicati e musica rilassante, un luogo dove le clienti si recavano per dimenticare lo stress quotidiano e dedicarsi alla cura di sé. Quel giorno, però, l'atmosfera di quiete fu turbata dall'arrivo della signora Nicoletta, una donna sulla quarantina, con un'aria vagamente trasandata e un sorriso un po' troppo smagliante.
Nicoletta si accomodò sulla poltrona per il trattamento viso, ma mentre l'estetista iniziava a stendere la crema idratante, un odore acre e penetrante invase la stanza. Le altre clienti si guardarono intorno con aria interrogativa, cercando di capire da dove provenisse quella zaffata nauseabonda.
L'estetista, con grande professionalità, cercò di mantenere un'espressione neutra, ma l'odore era così forte che le lacrime le salirono agli occhi. Con discrezione, cercò di individuare la fonte di quell'olezzo infernale e, con suo grande orrore, si accorse che proveniva dai piedi della signora Nicoletta.
La donna, incurante dell'effetto che stava provocando, aveva infatti sfilato le scarpe e le calze, mostrando un paio di piedi sudati. L'odore era pestilenziale, un misto di formaggio stagionato e piedi di hobbit dopo una lunga marcia nella Contea.
L'estetista, con un sorriso tirato, cercò di far capire alla signora Nicoletta che sarebbe stato meglio se le avesse coperto i piedi con la coperta (dialoghi originali nel video!), ma la donna facendo finta di niente dopo pochi secondi tornò nella posizione di prima.
A quel punto, l'estetista dovette ricorrere a un escamotage: con la scusa di dover prendere un prodotto dalla cabina accanto, si allontanò per qualche minuto, spruzzando nell'aria una quantità industriale di deodorante. Al suo ritorno, l'odore era leggermente attenuato, ma comunque percepibile.
Nonostante il disagio, l'estetista portò a termine il trattamento, cercando di mantenere la concentrazione e di non respirare troppo profondamente. Quando la signora Nicoletta finalmente si alzò per andarsene, lasciando dietro di sé una scia nauseabonda, l'estetista tirò un sospiro di sollievo e si affrettò ad aprire tutte le finestre, sperando di ripristinare al più presto l'aria pura nel suo centro estetico.
Le altre clienti, nel frattempo, si scambiavano occhiate divertite e commenti a bassa voce, commentando l'accaduto con un misto di incredulità e disgusto. La signora Nicoletta, ignara di essere stata la protagonista di un piccolo dramma olfattivo, uscì dal centro estetico con un sorriso soddisfatto, convinta di essersi concessa un pomeriggio di puro relax.
