I'm your guidance counsellor and you come into my office for a meeting with me. Last week everyone took career assessment tests. Your results came back and they're unexpected to say the least. Even though you have been very academically successful, you score came back saying that you're best suited for beta type jobs--being a nail tech, working in retail, maybe housekeeping...at least there are lots of opportunities right? The test doesn't lie, so the sooner you accept this about yourself, the sooner you'll be able to get on with your mediocre life.
