Adele Haze is writing in her private diary during prep and is caught by the Prefect, Niki Flynn. Adele is really for it now as Flynn takes full advantage of her prefect status upon Haze's unfortunate rear end. Making Haze read aloud from her diary only infuriates the Prefect further and she marches off to fetch the cane. As if being slippered and having her hands tawsed wasn't enough, she is about to receive the beating of her life.
