The Baron has April and imbued her with post- suggestion so that she reverts to the Black Queen personality when she hears the name Black Queen but then she reverts to her April Personality when she hears the term "my mistress". When Superman comes to visit, she goes back and forth between personalities until finally becoming the Black Queen for good.
