With holiday travel being crazy this year due to severe storms, many families found themselves separated and stranded from their destination. Aften and her step-dad Dennis wound up separated from Aften's step-mom, and much worse, found themselves in an awkward layover situation in Chicago on route to sunny San Francisco.
