When Beatrice's shoe becomes too painful to wear, she needs to get it off because her poor foot is her. The problem is she is quite far from her home. Liz offers her some help and it seems the best way for her to do so is to hold Beatrice's now naked foot off the cold dirty ground so she can continue on her way hopping on one foot. It's effective but looks odd to passing people So after a time Beatrice asks to hop alone.
