As she crutches down the stairs and into the street to get to work only a few blocks away she is not sure what is worse, the awkwardness she feels crutching on one good leg with a different set of crutches or the stares she is getting from everyone on the street as she hobbles around. at one point the crutch really bothers her and she uses the one glove she can still wear to cover and protect it. meanwhile her crutch falls down and she has to bend over awkwardly to retrieve it.
