Dakota is at the bottom of the stairs, wearing her skin-tight, ripped-up, 1980s acid-washed jeans tucked into maroon leather knee-boots, her pink satin blouse and a maroon leather jacket. She pauses to light up her cork-filtered full flavor cigarette.

She has a SCUBA octopus regulator around her neck and a metal SCUBA air tank on the ground beside her. She struggles to carry the tank up the stairs. Dakota’s not very strong, and the tank is heavy, so Dakota manages to lift it up one stair at a time, pausing for constant drags from her cigarette.
