They put an O2 mask onto her face and BP cuff onto her arm, removing her top and bra. They ask her about her symptoms and preps her for a 12 lead ECG. Alyssia's vitals get worse, and she gasps for air in a panic. The med team places the electrodes onto her chest and limbs and start the ECG exam. They realize Alyssia is having a heart attack. When they inform Alyssa she further panics, gasps for air and soon collapses and her heart goes into full cardiac arrest. The med team starts CPR immediately with dramatically deep and strong chest compressions, ambu bagging her and removing the 12 lead ecg electrodes. They place the 3 leads so they can continue to monitor her heart. The defibrillator (with 3M pads) is charged and the patient's pulse returns after the shock. It's weak, and her breathing is irregular and slow. The med team tries to stabilize her vitals but soon her heart flat lines again. The med team removes all the patient's clothes and continues the resus procedure with the deep and strong CPR, ambu bagging and countless of defibrillations. They put the CPR board under her back for better results. After many more cycles the patient's pulse returns and she is ready to transport to the cath lab.
