In the OR, the nurses prep Amy for surgery, placing a BP cuff and checking her heart rate with a stethoscope. The head nurse Nicky places a black mask over Amy's face while Amy moans. The head nurse begins intubation, Amy eyes are taped shut and the nurses prep her for surgery. While the nurses attend to the head nurse Amy's monitoring is neglected and she goes into CA. Nicky is taken from the OR for surgery, and the nurses start resus on Amy. They finish the surgery, place an 02 mask on Amy and take her into the recovery room. Meanwhile the head nurse is prepped for her own appendectomy in another OR. She is capped with a re-breather. The nurse places a black mask and harness on Nicky. Nicky suddenly wants to sit up, and get back to Amy's surgery, but feels the pressure in her abdomen. she is intubated with her eyes taped shut and her abdomen is prepped. We get a tight shot on the scalpel. Finally, Amy and Nicky lay side by side in the recovery room while one of the other nurses monitors them.
