The medical team runs in, checks her vitals and as they realize her pulse is an issue they remove her covers and start immediate CPR. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the first round. The med team places the O2 mask again on her face as she continues gasping for air. Her heart rate is irregular and in the next few seconds her heart arrests again. The med team does not give up though, they place a CPR board under her back and continue the resus procedure. Following many cycles of CPR, bagging and defibs there is no still response. The medical team preps her for intubation. The doctor tries to insert the ET tube but has an issue. With the help of the head nurse they try again and again to open her mouth wide and use the laryngoscope, but it just doesn't work. Finally the head nurse starts CPR while the other nurse works on the intubation procedure to keep her circulation going. Finally her pulse returns to normal and begins looking stable.
