(English) Following an exciting and dramatic gallbladder surgery the story continues in this video. Bianca is in the post OP room and nurse Gloria tells her what has happened. She is very frustrated and when Gloria leaves the room Bianca’s heart flat lines. Nurse Nicky runs in and realizes there is no pulse! She starts MTM breathing with CPR and calls for help. The team arrives with the crash cart. After a few cycles of CPR the defibrillator is charged and following the shock Bianca’s pulse returns. At first things begin to stabilize but very soon she collapses again with a full cardiac arrest. The med team removes the patient-gown and continues resus on the full naked patient. There is Ambu bagging, CPR with deep and strong chest compressions with more defib shocks but still there is no response. The med team places the CPR board under her back and performs some more cycles before intubating the patient. The ET tube is inserted and they continue the dramatic resus procedure on their colleague. Following a few more cycles Bianca’s pulse returns and looks stable.
