Bianca has had a massive heart attack. Following multiple successful resuscitation on location she is now in the ER gasping for air, moaning in pain and in a cold sweat. The medical team switches the ECG on her and cuts off all her clothes. They work on her to stabilize her vitals and prep her but her heart rate goes down so dramatically suddenly she starts having seizures and faints again. The medical team tries to control but her heart flat lines again. The med team places the CPR board under her back and starts CPR and ambu bagging immediately. Bianca has had a massive heart attack. Following multiple successful resuscitation on location she is now in the ER gasping for air, moaning in pain and in a cold sweat. The medical team switches the ECG on her and cuts off all her clothes. They work on her to stabilize her vitals and prep her but her heart rate goes down so dramatically suddenly she starts having seizures and faints again. The medical team tries to control but her heart flat lines again. The med team places the CPR board under her back and starts CPR and ambu bagging immediately. The defibrillator charges and the med team uses green 3m defib pads but there is no response following the shock. After a few cycles of resus action Bianca’s pulse returns. The med team places the O2 mask onto her face and calls her name. She is not totally conscious, moans in pain and breathes heavy. Everything looks OK at last but once again, she starts having seizures again. It's worse than earlier, her heart flat lines and the med team must start CPR while the seizures continue. Somehow, they finally get control of the situation and the seizures end but there is still no pulse. They intubate the patient and continue the resus procedure as well. Following many cycles of CPR, bagging and defibrillations the patient’s pulse returns. she looks stable. The med team hooks her up to the respirator before going to the cath lab at last.
