(English) This clip is based on a true story. Brandy Smile is at home and tells her story by the phone to Viktoria. She feels really bad, has strong nausea, difficulty breathing and dizziness. She went to the hospital and was discharged after several tests (ECG etc). She asks her girlfriend to come over then goes into another room and tries to do something but the feeling is getting worse. Viktoria gets a short call from Brandy, she needs her immediately. When Viktoria arrives, Brandy can't speak, gasps for air, feels pain and is close to collapse. She is showing strong heart attack symptoms. Viktoria calls the ambulance and helps Brandy lay on the floor. She tries to keep her awake but a few minutes later Brandy stops breathing, and her heart goes into full cardiac arrest. Viktoria is not a pro rescuer but she tries to do everything for her girlfriend. She starts CPR (with clothes on) and performs MTM breathing well. Following a few cycles of this the ambulance arrives.The medical team starts to check Brandy’s life functions but there is no pulse and no breathing. They cut off her top and bra and starts the CPR and ambu bagging immediately. They place the AED pads and shocks her heart but there is no response. They continue the resus procedure. Following a few cycles of CPR and AED shocks, Brandy’s pulse returns, she starts breathing and looks stable. The med team wants to prep her for transport as soon as possible. They places an O2 mask onto her face and hook her up to the heart monitor. Brandy wakes up and asks Viktoria what is going on. When she answers “you’re having a heart attack“ it is so shocking for her, her heartbeat starts to flutter again. She begins gasping for air and has a second heart attack. Her heart goes into short Vfib and then flat lines again. The med team restarts the resuscitation procedure, and CPR with strong chest compressions and more manually AED shocks. There is no response. They intubate her and continue resus. Many more cycles of the resus procedure are required with many defibrillations - until finally the patient’s pulse returns. She looks stable enough to transport to the hospital. A very interesting on location resus clip based on a true story. Very strong heart attack symptoms, strong CPR, superb AED shocks in this one.
