Candy is at the ER with shortness of breath and irregular heart rate. The med team lays her down and removes her shoes, socks and top. They places an O2 mask onto her face and insert an IV. They cuts off her bra and starts placing the 12 lead ECG on her chest. Candy gasps for air, the med team tries to calm her but her heart rate is still irregular and she gasps for air. Suddenly she loses stability her heart raced and her breathing is fast and gasping. Her heart goes to Vfib and Candy collapses. The med team call for help and a larger team arrives. A dramatic resuscitation procedure begins with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. The defibrillator is charged and the med team hurries along with it, the paddles are placed on patient’s chest while the CPR continues. However, There is no response following the shock. The med team places the CPR board under Candy's back and continues the resus procedures with many more cycles of the CPR, bagging and defibs. Some minutes later the patient’s pulse returns and she looks stable. An excellent ER clip with long and strong symptoms, 12 leads, deep and strong CPR and defibs.
