As the medical team works on her, Claire the owner of the house arrives for some pool fun and is shocked by what she sees, literally as it turns out. The med team has been pushing water out of Lia's lungs and the floor is really wet. Claire steps barefoot right into it. Unfortunately At this moment the doctor says "Clear!" and Lia receives a high jolt! Lias pulse returns to normal but Claire looks pretty bad, tottering and struggling to take a seat on the sofa as she gasps for air. The electricity has conducted thru the water and coursed through her. Her heart goes into irregular rhythm and seeing what has transpired the doctor checks her vitals immediately. She listens to her heartbeat with a steth. They let Claire lay down on the sofa and prep for a quick ECG exam. They remove her bikini top and place a 12 lead ECG electrodes on her chest. Her heart is racing as she begins atrial fibrillation. The med team must cardiovert her immediately. They prep the AED, place the electrodes and administer a round. Claire moans following the shock and her heart rhythm is still very poor. The AED is charged again but there is no response following the next round. The medical team lays her down to the floor and her heart goes vfib. They remove the 12 leads, and one doctor starts bagging her while the other starts CPR immediately with deep and strong chest compressions! The medical team switches to a manual defibrillator and jolts Claire's heart but there is no response, and the ECG still beeps flatline. They will not give up though! They continue the resus procedure with many cycles of CPR and ambu bagging. The camera captures all possible angles at the poolside. Finally after a defibrillation, Claire's pulse returns to normal and it looks like her sinus rhythm returns as well! She starts coughing and gasping for air at first but soon she is breathing normally. A very exciting on location resus clip with long and strong symptoms, multiple patients, strong chest compressions, AED shocks, manual defibs, ambu bagging and 12 lead ECG etc. A must see film for all fans.
