They check her BP, open her top and auscultates her heart and lungs. Dolly’s condition worsens during the next few minutes during the exam. The patient has fairly consistent heart attack symptoms. When the doctors learn she is having an HA, they start the resuscitation procedure. They perform CPR with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response, however following a few more cycles Dolly starts breathing but her condition is still critical. They place the O2 mask back and return the bed to a semi-seated position. A minute later the patients heart flatlines again. The med team places the CPR board under her and begins the resus procedure with CPR, ambu bagging and more defibs. Following a few cycles Dolly’s pulse returns to normal rhythm and is ready for transport. A graphical HA clip with symptoms and deep and strong chest compressions and CPR board.
