Gloria changes from her street clothes into a hospital gown and gets on the gurney waiting in the hallway ready to transport her to her gyno surgery. Gloria changes from her street clothes into a hospital gown and gets on the gurney waiting in the hallway ready to transport her to her gyno surgery. The nurses place electrodes on her chest, and turn on the heart monitor. Meanwhile they place a black mask on Gloria's face, asking her to take deep breaths. Once Gloria is fully intubated, the surgery begins by sterilizing her abdominal area. It starts out well but soon Gloria's heart rate becomes erratic, and her body temperature spikes. The nurses don't know what's going on, but Gloria suddenly sits up with her eyes wide open. The nurses tell her to lay back down. It looks as though Gloria is going to code, but she doesn't. Her heart rate returns to normal and the doctor horizontally tapes Gloria's eyes shut with some white micropore tape. Once the surgery is done the tape removed, although she is still wearing her bouffant cap and oxygen mask. The surgeon tells her about the surgery, and how they had a scary moment, but Gloria looks very confused because she doesn't remember any of it. The doctor reassures her that despite the surprise the surgery went well in any case.
