Meanwhile, the nurse tries to calm the terrified woman down and tell her to try to slow her breathing down. However, she just keeps breathing deep and fast. Before they can manage an effective therapy, she stops breathing entirely and her heart flat lines! The med team cuts off all of her clothes and starts CPR immediately with deep and strong chest compressions. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the shock. The med team continues the resuscitation procedure. They perform many cycles of CPR ambu bagging and defibs but there is still no response. The defibrillator is charged again and in her haste nurse Kyra ignores the alert: CLEAR! She is still in contact with Gloria when the defibrillator administers its shock. The patient's pulse returns but now its nurse Kyra's turn to crash, she drops to the floor gasping for air. Dr Edina starts working on her while the other nurse gives O2 to Gloria. Unfortunately Nurse Kyra's heart goes into full cardiac arrest, her eyes roll back and she collapses. Dr. Edina starts CPR on her and calls the other nurse's for help. They cuts off her clothes, continues the CPR with deep and strong chest compressions and prepare the other defibrillator to administer another shock, this one hopefully too bring her back! There is no response following the shock, and they continue the resuscitation procedure. Following more cycles of resus, nurse Kyra's pulse returns and she slowly regains consciousness as well. The med team helps her to stand up slowly, and return to finish Gloria's therapy as she recovers. An excellent multiple patient's resus clip with many details.
