As she lays on the sofa her heart beats irregularly. Suddenly she starts gasping for air and soon she collapses on the floor with no pulse or breathing. Fortunately the parameds arrive quickly and they starts checking her vitals. They place the AED pads and Dr. Jade performs the first shock but there is no response. They perform many cycles of resus. Following a defib shock Hillary's pulse returns for a few seconds and starts breathing weakly but then her heart flat lines again. The med team preps the LUCAS CPR machine. When intubation is completed they place the LUCAS onto her and turn the machine on. A dramatic CPR scene starts with the machine. The med team organizes the ambulance to forward her to the hospital. They stop the machine and perfrom a few defib shocks but there is no response. They trun the LUCAS thumper on again and deeply compress patient's chest. Following another defib shock the patient's pulse returns and she is stable enough for transport.
