Vanessa wants to be more realistic. She puts gel on the paddles and accidentally pushes the CHARGE button! She thinks Hillary in playing but soon realizes something is wrong and panics. She runs out to the hallway to call someone. Two Nurses rush in to check Hillary who has crashed. They begin REAL resus on her. The head nurse begins deep chest compressions and charges the defibrillator while the other nurse starts ambu bagging. They put the pads on Hillary's chest and hook her up to the heart monitor, but all are in such a panic they forget to turn on the monitor for some minutes. When the defib is charged, the head nurse administers the first round with little effect. They continue resus, put a BP on her and turn on the heart monitor but she is still flat. Following many rounds of CPR and many defibs Hillary's pulse returns to normal. The big difference between hollywood style and real CPR and defibrillations is obvious in this clip as playtime turns to serious CPR. The clip also features deep and strong chest compressions.
