Her heart rhythm is not regulated yet, and the medical team continues the treatment. Jade wishes to be relaxed and they comply to assist her. When everything looks OK the med team continues the cardioversion treatment. They perform multiple rounds on Jade's heart. She softly moans following each round. Following many rounds there is still no response. The med team sets the defibrillator higher. Following that Jade's heart goes into vfib. The med team starts CPR immediately and ambu bags her. As they get no result with AED pads, they remove them and prep her for manual defibrillation. They place green defib pads onto Jade's chest and continue the resus with many more cycles of CPR, ambu bagging and defibrillations. Finally Jade's pulse returns but it is too slow. The med team realizes they must perform an external heart pacing. They replace the AED - pacing pads and set up the machine. As they turn it on, there is a visible effect on Jade's chest. With every pacing signal Jade's chest muscles twitches lightly. The patient is stable, ready for more treatments or pacemaker surgery. A must see clip for defib, AED and external pacing fans!
