Jade is in the ICU following her heart attack. She wears a green bouffant cap, with a peripheral and central IV inserted, BP cuff placed. She is hooked up to the heart monitor with 7 leads and hooked up to the respirator as well. She is intubated and a Thomas tube holder holds her ET tube. The respirator is visibly pushing air into Jade’s lungs (seen from all camera angles). The med team checks the patient’s vitals with stething, checking BP and pupils. When everything looks OK, they leave her. Suddenly Jade’s heart flatlines. The med team returns immediately and checks the monitor and her vitals again. There is no pulse! They switch her airways to ambu bag and start the resuscitation procedure immediately with the CPR, ambu bagging and multiple defibrillations with paddles and gel. They perform DEEP and STRONG chest compressions. Jade reacts sharply to the defibs in a detailed and dramatic resus scene from all camera angles. The med team places the CPR board behind the patient’s back and continues hard CPR on her. They need many cycles of the resus procedure until finally the patient’s pulse returns. She looks stable and the med team realizes she can breath alone at last. They prep her for the extubation procedure. An excellent and very realistic and detailed ICU respirator and resuscitation clip with deep and strong chest compressions, very realistic defibrillations.
